In a sea of sound, Pilgrimage Years drifts just enough out of focus. Their music moves through dreamrock, shoegaze, and psychedelia — a sound that feels both distant and deeply personal. A gentle falsetto floats over soft, dreamy guitars and a restless rhythm section, weaving melodies that feel like half-remembered dreams.
Formed by Cole (guitar, vocals), Max (drums), and Simon (bass), the trio draws inspiration from the greats such as LSD and the Search for God, The War on Drugs and Slowdive. While embracing dissonance, imperfection, and hazy reverb, they find harmony in the blur between structure and surrender. Each song becomes an invitation to drift, to drown out your thoughts.
Their debut, The Size of a Year (2023), captured the beauty of temporary moments — of being exactly where you’re meant to be, if only for a while. Motions (2024) followed, exploring how nothing truly exists without change or movement. Now, their third and self-titled record, Pilgrimage Years (expected late 2027), looks inward tracing identity as something fluid, shaped by time, memory, and experience.
